The Portland NetRippers Football Club have agreed to contract with the CCE Sports Network to bring a live broadcast of a series of games at the 2016 IGLFA World Championships XXII (IGLFApdx).
CCE Sports Network, the nation’s only live web streaming network for gay and lesbian sports, will be providing multi-camera filming of Strasser Field located at Delta Park in North Portland from August 6 thru August 13. Live play by play commentary, on-screen scoring and stats, music, news and sports highlights will be a part of this years broadcast.
Pre and Post game sports shows are under consideration along with the possibility of multiple field reporting/coverage depending on additional sponsorship. “Because we are a sponsorship driven network, we rely on the generous sponsorship of companies and organizations to help us with production cost,” says Washington DC Capital Sports TV Reporter Kevin Majoros, “and we are still on the lookout for one or two more corporate sponsors who will aid us in making this year’s championship the best LIVE broadcast ever.”
Regular registration for this year’s tournament is open until May 31st, and late registration will be available until July 10th. Game format is 11 v 11 (maximum of 20 players on a roster) or 7 v 7 (maximum of 13 players on a roster).
